Smashing Pumpkins -- Zeitgeist My first new store bought CD in a couple years

I did it today. I did what I said I would never do, except for a few very rare occasions. The last CD I bought in a store was Tool's latest. I simply could not wait for this one to hit stores as I have always been a HUGE Pumpkins fan. I love it all, the slow and fast, the heavy and soft. I truly believe that Billy Corgan is a musical genius and on this album he proves it once again. Along with the two songs heard on radio, Tarantula, and Doomsday Clock, my favorite song of them all is the epid 7 plus minute song United States. Damn, that song is awesome.

Anyway, so yea, definitely check out the album. I got the one on sale at Best Buy that included an extra song, all for $9.99. Can't even beat that at iTunes. Their is also the regular album, sans extra track for $13.99 and what looks like a box set or double album for $22.99 which basically included a 76 page full color book. I chose the cheapest route and with the most songs.

I love this @!$%#ing album and I believe most of you Smashing Pumpkins fans out there will not be dissapointed either.

One of the first pictures in the album art is of Paris Hilton holding one hand to her hip with the other hand holding her cell phone up to her ear, while the nuclear bomb goes off right behind her. Now, that's hot!! ha ha

I am wondering though, I've been a huge fan of SP since the beginning. When did Billy become such a Catholic? I can remember in the early days him singing "And I still believe that I can NOT be saved." I wonder if he has gone back to the religion of his youth or is this something new for him? Not sure.
